John D. Rockefeller, Jr. Library



The John D. Rockefeller, Jr. Library, otherwise known as "the Rock," serves as the primary teaching and research library for the humanities, social sciences, and fine arts.

The John D. Rockefeller, Jr. Library is located on the corner of Prospect and College Streets. The Patrick Ma Digital Scholarship Lab and Hecker Training Room are located on the first floor.

    Note: Late-night use of the Rockefeller and Sciences libraries is reserved for Brown ID holders only. Entry into the library buildings after 10:00 p.m. requires access by Brown ID card-swipe.
