Sciences Library Requests from Closed Floors

During the Fall 2009 semester, a sprinkler system will be installed in the Sciences Library. This facility upgrade requires that each floor be closed to users for two weeks at a time. No more than two floors will be closed at a time. During the time that a floor is closed, library materials will be retrieved on request.

Library staff will have no access to closed floors during the daytime hours. Staff will retrieve requested material from closed floors once daily in the early evening 7 days a week. Items requested before 2pm will be ready for pick-up by 6 pm the same day. Retrieved material will be held for 10 days at the service desk in the Friedman Center, Level A.
