One of my classes is a GISP, and so rather than buying all the books, I've been getting them on Inter-Library Loan. I prefer doing that to using books that are on reserve because you can keep the Inter-Library Loan books for about a month.

InRhode is the worst of all the services, however; it does not link well to Josiah; it is difficult to navigate back to Josiah and one can only use the bar code (not ID and password) to request books. I try to avoid using it as a result. I also wish that the services were linked a bit more, particularly Interlibrary loan. I wish I could log into one account and see all the books I have out, rather than having to go independently to ILL. Also and more importantly, if one service cannot fulfill a request it should automatically make the request for the borrower from another service rather than bouncing the request back and requiring the borrower to figure out what other means can be used to get the needed material.

It is almost TOO easy-- and I wonder if unknowing undergrads may utilize system carelessly. People might need to know that it cost $$$ to do this, that books don't just get here by magic.

I am very happy with easyborrow. I small point, though --I would love it if somehow easyborrow would allow you to indicate how urgent the request is so that it prioritizes its search in certain borrowing services and not others. For instance, once I needed a book urgently, and instead of going for Borrow Direct or Virtual Catalogue (where the book was available), this service picked ILLiad. But this is a minor point. I really like easyborrow.

The links should be more prominent

Not very many people know about this service. It's not advertised by the library at all.
Undergrad Good took a bit long to get the book, but otherwise good.
Grad student Excellent very easy to do that, just click and click and wait. Then you go to the specified library to get your book and return it in time...In time, actually, usually the time you can keep the book is not too long. So don't forget to deal with it.

It was easy to find the titles I wanted, and I received my book very promptly- sooner than I had expected! I was surprised and very pleased with this service.

Excellent for books; very good for articles.
Grad student Excellent Usually, easyBorrow works great. But occasionally a request gets stuck in the system or something - I requested a book last semester, got the email that said "We've located your book and now we'll send it to you", but then it just stayed like that for weeks, and then the request finally got canceled. I'm not sure if it was just that particular book, because I tried re-requesting it from various different library services (BorrowDirect, etc.) and they all seemed to have issues. Other than that, though, I do love easyBorrow.
