Students: I can help you find images, books and articles for your papers, models and projects. Please drop in anytime during the day or use email or chat. I'm happy both to answer quick questions and to set up in depth research consultations.

Faculty: I can meet with faculty from any department to help you incorporate art related or visual culture images into your curriculum, including adding new material to the Instructional Image Collection at your request. I also am available to give classroom presentations about doing research and using databases at Brown.

I grew up in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. I majored in Art History at Smith College with a minor in History, then earned my Masters in Library Science from Simmons College. In recent years, I have collaborated with Professor Dietrich Neumann on the books Architecture of the Night and The Structure of Light: Richard Kelly and the Illumination of Modern Architecture. This has given me a lot of experience in working with publishers and image providers and in obtaining copyright permissions for publication.
