My Background

I grew up in Le Havre, France. I studied German Literature and Culture at the Universite of Rouen (Licence, 1971) in France and at Brown University (M.A., 1976). I have also studied Information Sciences both in France, at the Institut National des Techniques de la Documentation (Diploma, 1973) and at Simmons College (M.L.S., 1980) in Boston.

I have been employed at the Brown University Library since 1976, except for two years I spent working at the University of Connecticut.

My personal interests include: hiking, cooking, and traveling.
