{"id":1001112,"date":"2012-05-18T10:46:55","date_gmt":"2012-05-18T14:46:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/dlibwwwcit.services.brown.edu\/cds\/?p=1112"},"modified":"2012-05-18T10:46:55","modified_gmt":"2012-05-18T14:46:55","slug":"tei-tools-for-seasr","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/library.brown.edu\/create\/cds\/tei-tools-for-seasr\/","title":{"rendered":"TEI Tools for SEASR"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Center for Digital Scholarship recently completed a <a href=\"https:\/\/securegrants.neh.gov\/publicquery\/main.aspx?f=1&amp;gn=HD-50822-09\">NEH Digital Humanities Start-Up Grant<\/a> to create a set of experimental tools for analyzing TEI texts using the <a href=\"http:\/\/seasr.org\">SEASR<\/a> framework.  <\/p>\n<p>SEASR lets users arrange and manipulate small computational &#8220;components&#8221; in series to allow data to be ingested, analyzed, transformed, and visualized.  CDS produced about three dozen of these components to explore how collections of literary texts can be studied using these tools.
