University, specializing in Shakespeare, medieval and early modern drama, and British poetry. He is the author of numerous publications, most recently&nbsp;<em>Shakespeare in America: An anthology from the revolution until now<\/em>&nbsp;(2014) and&nbsp;<em>The year of Lear: Shakespeare in 1606<\/em>&nbsp;(2015). He has been awarded fellowships by the Guggenheim Foundation, the NEH, the Cullman Center for Scholars and Writers, and the Huntington Library.
