As of early February 2014 the John Hay Library renovation project is right on schedule.  The four images below provide a snapshot of the progress being made during the project’s construction phase.  The first image shows the construction of the new accessible restrooms on the first floor of the library, the entrance to which is adjacent to the Reader Services desk and right inside the new Exhibition Gallery.  The second image provides a look at the new entrance to the Reader Services area (view is from the Reader Services desk toward the lobby and the front entrance to the building).  One can see the new first-floor Consultation/Meeting Room taking shape in the third image and the refurbished third-floor skylight in the fourth image.  Stay tuned for further progress reports.
