His previous library experience includes serving as Reference Librarian at Emmanuel College and Instructional Librarian and Department Head at the East Providence Public Library. He has taught at Bronx Community College (CUNY) for over a decade&nbsp;and has local experience from his time as an Archival Processing Assistant at the Rhode Island Historical Society in 2018.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jason&nbsp;is completing his PhD at&nbsp;Simmons University in Library and Information Sciences with a focus on critical librarianship, critical informatics, and information literacy&nbsp;pedagogies.
