Currently the Medical Reference Librarian at Texas Christian University, she has also worked as a health sciences librarian at the University of North Texas Health Sciences Center, at UT-Arlington, and as a contract librarian for the American Heart Association, providing expert searching services for clinical guidelines. She has fulfilled the Medical Library Association\u2019s Systematic Reviews Specialization, and is also a provisional member of the Academy of Health Information Professionals (AHIP).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In her personal time,&nbsp;Laura&nbsp;enjoys hiking and running (slowly), as well as crafts like knitting, sewing, and crochet.
