Contact us for assistance with:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Writing <a href=\"https:\/\/libguides.brown.edu\/data_management\">Data Management &amp; Sharing plans (DMPs)<\/a> for grant proposals (e.g., NIH and NSF grants).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Depositing research datasets resulting from sponsored research in open access repositories, including sharing anonymized data from clinical trials in Brown&#8217;s newest membership repository, <a href=\"https:\/\/vivli.org\/\">Vivli<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Obtaining digital object identifiers (DOIs) for citing the location of data in publications and funders\u2019 Research Performance Progress Reports (RPPR).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">HBLS also assists the Brown community with using <a href=\"https:\/\/libguides.brown.edu\/data_management\/labarchives\">LabArchives Electronic Lab Notebooks (ELNs)<\/a> for both research and teaching.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Learn more about <a href=\"https:\/\/libguides.brown.edu\/data_management\">HBLS&#8217; RDM services<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Other data services in the Library<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">HBLS collaborates with colleagues on the Library&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/libguides.brown.edu\/dataservices\">Center for Library Exploration and Research (CLEAR) Data Services<\/a> team to help Brown community members with their reference inquiries related to looking for data for their research and scholarship. CLEAR&#8217;s Data Services team&nbsp; partners&nbsp; with Brown community members on several types of data science support, including processing and analyzing data (particularly geospatial, census, socio-economic, financial, and environmental).
