One of the greatest tools the library has to offer is its people.\u00a0A subject librarian can often be a research paper\u2019s best friend. Subject librarians, on multiple occasions, have been referred to as living, breathing search engines, except they are friendlier. Regardless of whether you are at the\u00a0beginning of a research project, have reached a dead end in your quest, or if you just need one last\u00a0source to push your paper over the top, a\u00a0subject librarian can help.\u00a0Subject librarians can even be reached off-campus through the chat widget on the library homepage and the SMS text message service (401-285-1272).<\/p>\n
In addition to its people, the library is home to thousands of individual spaces. I like to think there are places in the library where no one has ever sat and thought the same thoughts you will think while sitting in these spaces. It is the library\u2019s goal to provide the perfect location for every student to fully reach his or her academic potential.
