This week (April 13\u201319) is National Library Week. The theme this year is “Lives Change @ Your Library.”<\/p>\n

First sponsored in 1958, National Library Week is a national observance sponsored by the American Library Association (ALA). Libraries across the country celebrate each April. It is an opportunity for the contributions of our nation’s libraries and librarians to be recognized and to also promote library use and support.<\/p>\n

Judy Blume (best-selling author and intellectual freedom advocate) will serve as Honorary Chair<\/a> of this year’s National Library Week.<\/p>\n
