Egan, Brown Professor of English, as\u00a0he delivers a Commencement Forum titled &#8220;<strong style=\"color: #2f2a20\">Continuity Amidst Transformation in the Humanities&#8221; on Saturday, May 24 at 11 a.m. in the Rockefeller Library Patrick Ma Digital Scholarship Lab.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #2f2a20\">The study of the humanities is undergoing transformation with the increased use of digital technologies and methodologies. Professor Egan will discuss the enduring value of the humanities to society even in this changing environment. Professor Egan\u2019s presentation will reveal important synergies between research and teaching, with a focus on new approaches to analyzing canonical works and authors of American literature. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #2f2a20\">Refreshments will be served.
