Kerri Hicks<\/strong> joined\u00a0the Library as the new\u00a0Web Manager\u00a0on\u00a0August 29, 2014. She has been a web developer in higher education for nearly twenty years. One of her goals throughout her professional career has been to connect people with information. Prior to Brown, she was\u00a0the Manager of Web Communications at the University of Rhode Island. In December of 2014, she earned\u00a0her MLIS degree from University of Rhode Island.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Christopher Geissler<\/strong> returned to Brown as Librarian for British and American Literary and Popular Culture Collections on September 2, 2014.\u00a0He had served briefly as\u00a0interim librarian for these collections from January to\u00a0May 2013, when he left to take an archivist position at the University of North Carolina-Charlotte. Christopher has worked\u00a0at Yale’s Beinecke Rare Book and Manuscript Library and at the Sterling and Francine Clark Art Institute Library in Williamstown, MA. He holds undergraduate and graduate (BA and MPhil) degrees from Yale University in American Studies and earned an MLIS from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.<\/p>\n![\"KimberlySilvaSquare\"](\"http:\/\/blogs.brown.edu\/libnews\/files\/2014\/12\/KimberlySilvaSquare-.jpg\")
Kimberly\u00a0Silva became the Circulation Manager in the Rockefeller Library on November 24, 2014. Prior to arriving at Brown, she worked at the Fall River Public Library for fourteen years, where she was the librarian in both public and technical services.
