The Library is pleased to announce the appointment of\u00a0Angela\u00a0Galvan\u00a0as Library E-Resources Manager.<\/p>\n

Prior to joining Brown,\u00a0Angela\u00a0served as Digital Resources and Systems Librarian for the State University of New York, Geneseo. Before joining SUNY Geneseo in 2015,\u00a0Angela\u00a0was Digital Reformatting Specialist and Head of Interlibrary Services for The Ohio State University Health Sciences Library. She holds an MLIS from Kent State University.<\/div>\n

Angela\u00a0currently edits The MARCEdit Field Guide and has a chapter forthcoming on contemporary mourning and digital estates in\u00a0The Complete Guide to Personal Digital Archiving for Librarians, Archivists, and Information Professionals<\/em>\u00a0from ALA Press. Her service includes appointments to ACRL and the Digital Library Federation Forum Preconference planning committees in various capacities.\u00a0Angela\u00a0is scheduled to give a keynote address for\u00a0VALA: Libraries\/Technology and the Future<\/a>\u00a0in February, 2018.<\/div>\n
