For this week, students should access the Opening the Archives website, look for five related documents, and write a 3-page analysis of the documents. The analysis should be e-mailed to Professor Green the day before the seminar session. Students will make brief presentations on the topic and materials they analyzed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How to use the archive<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

1- Once you decide the topic\/theme you want to find documents on, go to the search bar and type in keywords. Example:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2- Dozens of documents will show up with your search. You can then narrow it down through: year, author institution, broad theme, key words, or other categories displayed on the left side of the screen. Example:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3- Once you find a document of interest, you can use the search bar and the document’s keywords to find related documents. Example:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
