Manuscript of “primera parte” of the complete work; of uncertain origin and provenance before it was purchased in 1905, in Paris, by George Earl Church. Written in two columns of 51-56 lines. Numbered leaf 192 lacking. Author’s name changed on title page from Bartholome Arzans de Orzua y Vela. Inscribed in red on title page, and in black on first page of main text, “De D. Luis Josef de Lacoa.”<\/p>\n

This manuscript was the basis for pt. 1 of the transcription of the whole work published under title: Historia de la villa imperial de Potos\u00ed<\/em> \/ por Bartolom\u00e9 Arz\u00e1ns de Ors\u00faa y Vela ; edici\u00f3n de Lewis Hanke y Gunnar Mendoza.
