Champlin first donated his stamp collection to Brown University Library&nbsp;anonymously in 1960. This initial gift totaled just six albums, but he added to the collection and worked on it personally each year.&nbsp;In 1980, following his death,&nbsp;his collection&nbsp;was acknowledged publicly.&nbsp;The Champlin Foundations generously donate to&nbsp;the Library each year in Mr. Champlin&#8217;s memory, enabling the purchase of new stamps from across the globe and supporting care and maintenance of the collection. The Champlin Collection is global&nbsp;in scope, but does not contain U.S. stamps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">[Top] <strong>A selection of stamps from the&nbsp;George S.
