More than 500 books on art, Buddhism and literature, primarily in
Japanese, but some in Chinese, from the library of the donor's husband,
Professor Eric Sackheim.

As part of a large, multi-year gift, approximately 342 items, including
correspondence, manuscripts, typescripts, photos and related documents
of prominent 19 th and 20 th century literary, artistic, social and
political personalities, primarily American, French and British.
