To reactivate a reserves list, first <a href=\"https:\/\/library.brown.edu\/info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/How-to-enable-Course-Reserves-in-your-Canvas-course.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">enable your Course Reserves link in your Canvas course page\u2019s navigation menu<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2. Next, select <strong>Course Reserves <\/strong>from your navigation menu, and then <strong>Select existing list <\/strong>from the option to <strong>Create list from an existing list<\/strong> to reactivate a previous reserves list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped wp-block-gallery-1 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" data-id=\"10007\" src=\"\/info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/image3-6-1024x565.png\" alt=\"select Course Reserves, then Select existing list\" class=\"wp-image-10007\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>3. Next, you\u2019ll be presented with a list of your previous reserves lists. Select the option for <strong>Reactivate list<\/strong> to the&nbsp; right of the list you want to reactivate.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you do not see a previous reserves list, please contact our reserves team at <a href=\"mailto:rock-reserves@brown.edy\">rock-reserves@brown.ed<\/a>u for assistance with your reactivation.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped wp-block-gallery-2 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" data-id=\"10008\" src=\"\/info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/image4-5-1024x577.png\" alt=\"select Reactivate list \" class=\"wp-image-10008\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>4. You have some options to edit your reserves list before reactivating it:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>List name- <\/strong>You can edit the name of your reserves list in the List name field if you do not want the list to have the default name of your course name.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Link to course- <\/strong>This is where you will search for and select the course name and number of the previous reserves list you had that you would like to reactivate.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>After making your edits and selections, select <strong>Create list<\/strong> to continue your list reactivation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped wp-block-gallery-3 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" data-id=\"10005\" src=\"\/info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/image1-7-1024x534.png\" alt=\"edit options, List name and Link to course, then select Create list \" class=\"wp-image-10005\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>5. Your list has now been reactivated, and all items that were previously requested should be visible as requests under&nbsp; the list of resources.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can add and edit your requests by following these instructions to <strong>Add requests to your reserves list<\/strong> or <strong>edit and delete reserves requests<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our system is currently configured to automatically publish your list so students can view it, and also automatically inform the library that you have submitted a reserves list for processing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped wp-block-gallery-4 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" data-id=\"10006\" src=\"\/info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/image2-7-1024x448.png\" alt=\"top dashboard displays Published link and link to student profile\" class=\"wp-image-10006\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>1.
