Then head to the Absolute Quiet Room on Level A of <a href=\"http:\/\/library.brown.edu\/about\/rock\/\">the Rock<\/a>. The Finn Reading Room on Level 1 provides group study rooms and excellent views of downtown Providence. The Rock also offers personal carrels.<\/li><li>Study Spaces at <a href=\"http:\/\/library.brown.edu\/about\/scili\/\">the Sci Li<\/a>:&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/library.brown.edu\/about\/friedman.php\">The Friedman Study Center<\/a> provides group work rooms and computers. Looking for a science tutor or a place to work on problem sets with friends? Try <a href=\"http:\/\/www.brown.edu\/Administration\/Dean_of_the_College\/Science_Center\/\">the Science Center<\/a>.<\/li><li>Didn&#8217;t find the type of study space you want? Explore <a href=\"http:\/\/library.brown.edu\/about\/facilities.php\">other libraries<\/a>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/library.risd.edu\/\">RISD Fleet Library<\/a> to find new spaces to work.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/library.brown.edu\/libweb\/copyprint.php\">Computing clusters, printing, and scanning<\/a>: The libraries have Wi-Fi and&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/library.brown.edu\/libweb\/copyprint.php\">computing clusters<\/a> equipped with scanning and printing. The Rock <a href=\"http:\/\/library.brown.edu\/borrowing\/laptop.php\">loans laptops<\/a>. At the beginning of the academic year, all undergraduates are given $30 for printing in the computer clusters on their Brown ID. <a href=\"https:\/\/library.brown.edu\/\">Curious how many computers are available<\/a>?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/search.library.brown.edu\/\">Josiah<\/a>: Josiah is Brown University Library&#8217;s online catalog of books, journals, videos, audio, and more. <a href=\"https:\/\/josiah.brown.edu\/patroninfo~S7\">Renew materials<\/a> online using <a href=\"https:\/\/josiah.brown.edu\/patroninfo\">MyJosiah<\/a> or bring them to a circulation desk. You can browse the Library catalog, renew books, and monitor computer cluster availability from your phone using <a href=\"http:\/\/library.brown.edu\/m\/\">moBUL<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/dl.lib.brown.edu\/reserves\/\">Course Reserves<\/a>: Required reading, video, and audio materials can be found either online or physically in the libraries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/library.brown.edu\/borrowing\/easyBorrow.php\">easyBorrow<\/a>: This service locates and delivers books that are checked out or not available at Brown. Articles from journals can also be requested using <a href=\"https:\/\/brown-illiad-oclc-org.revproxy.brown.edu\/illiad\/illiad.dll\">ILLiad<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Researching<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/library.brown.edu\/libweb\/askalib.php\">Ask a Librarian<\/a>: Library staff can be contacted using chat, email, phone, and in person. These services are available to anyone \u2013 chats from parents and prospective students are welcome!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/library.brown.edu\/gateway\/\">Resource Guides by Subject and<\/a>&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/dl.lib.brown.edu\/gateway\/classes.php\">Course<\/a>: Resource guides have been created to help you start your research and choose from the many resources available to you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/library.brown.edu\/forms\/rescnslt.php\">Research Consultations<\/a>: These face-to-face sessions with a subject librarian will save you time. Appropriate peer-reviewed sources will be given to you and tips to the next step of research will be offered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/library.brown.edu\/libweb\/proxy.php\">Off-Campus Access to Resources<\/a>: Are you home for Thanksgiving or living off campus and need access to library services? Don\u2019t worry; use VPN, WebVPN, or EZProxy to access our electronic resources from home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.brown.edu\/Student_Services\/Writing_Center\/\">The Writing Center<\/a>: Need someone to read over your paper or offer critical writing advice? The Writing Center can help you and improve your writing skills at the same time.
