All students can send documents from a cluster computer, their personal computer, their residence hall rooms, or from a wireless connection using the <a href=\"http:\/\/library.brown.edu\/libweb\/proxy.php\">Virtual Private Network (VPN) client<\/a>, to the <a href=\"https:\/\/ithelp.brown.edu\/kb\/articles\/481-print-to-pawprints-from-your-computer-or-mobile-device\">PAW (People Against Waste) Prints<\/a> queue and release them for printing at <a href=\"https:\/\/it.brown.edu\/services\/type\/pawprints-printers\">release stations<\/a> next to printers located throughout campus. <strong>All students are given $30 in printing at the beginning of the fall semester. <\/strong>Once the value is used on their Brown ID, students can use the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.brown.edu\/Administration\/Financial_Services\/Browncard\/Information\/dba.html#vending\">vending stripe on their Brown ID<\/a> to pay for printing.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"color: #ad8d89;text-transform: uppercase;letter-spacing: 1.25px;font-weight: bolder;margin-bottom: .5em;margin-top: 2em;font-size: 1.4em;line-height: 1.25\">Photocopying\/Scanning<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Rock: A self-service photocopier is on level 2. A book scanner is on level 2.<\/li>\n<li>Sciences: One copier on level A.<\/li>\n<li>Orwig: One copier in the reference room.<\/li>\n<li>Library users are responsible for ensuring that copying <a href=\"http:\/\/www.brown.edu\/Administration\/Copyright\/\">complies with U.S. copyright laws<\/a>. <em>Printing more than 10 percent of any book, online or print, is a copyright violation. ebrary allows you to print one page at a time up to ten pages, and 40 pages only during one browser session.<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Transactions are card-based; release stations show a combined balance of PawPrints funds and Bear Bucks.<\/li>\n<li>The John Hay Library will provide reproductions of Special Collections materials to the extent that physical condition and copyright or other legal restrictions apply.
