In Honor of the Graduates of 2020
Established by the Brown University Library in recognition of the Graduates of 2020, who persevered through the COVID-19 related campus closure.
The bookplate features a pencil drawing on foam core of the sculpture, Idee di Pietra (Ideas of Stone), 2006 by Giuseppe Penone, which was installed on the Main Green in fall 2016. The sketch and bookplate design was created by Library staff member Stephen Gervais and was selected among three design entries by Library staff.
