This collection consists of the personal and professional papers of Hazel V. Carby, Charles C. and Dorothea S. Dilley Professor Emeritus of African American Studies and Professor Emeritus of American Studies, Yale University. Carby's foundational and extensive scholarship focuses on race, gender, class, African American Studies, and African Diaspora Studies.
