New project released: Harris Broadsides

The Harris Broadsides from the Harris Collection of Poetry and Plays, is a comprehensive collection of American poetry published in broadside format from colonial times to the present. Brown Daily Herald Digital Archive Featured in Scout Report

The BDH‘s Digitial Archive was recently featured in the Scout Report: Since 1891, the Brown Daily Herald has chronicled “political protest, athletic wins and losses, curricular changes, and students’ initiative.” Recently, Brown University’s Center for Digital Scholarship and the Herald began working together to create this digital archive of the paper. Digital Humanities table at ALA Midwinter

CDS has organized a table at the ALA midwinter meeting in Boston (January 15-18, 2010) on “Showcasing Digital Humanities”, which will include eight other digital humanities centers, projects, and publishers. It promises to be an interesting event. The table is sponsored by the Association for Computers and the Humanities, to enable digital humanities centers and Digital Humanities table at ALA Midwinter

New texts added to Women Writers Online

The Women Writers Project recently added fourteen new texts to Women Writers Online, its collection of women’s writing in English published before 1850.
