“What did you do in the War, Grandma?” is an oral history website originally created in 1995, and updated in 1997, based on oral histories collected and published by Linda Wood and her students at South Kingstown High School in 1989.

It became a popular site as it was an early example of community based oral history on the web. Despite its age, “What did you do in the War, Grandma?” remains compelling because of its content and presentation.
