Brown-Guest (unencrypted)
Choose the wireless network Brown-Guest from your list of wireless networks.
When you open a web browser, you will be prompted to agree to the terms to start using the internet.
Eduroam (secure)
All of the Ivy Plus schools have access to eduroam. Using eduroam will allow you to connect to Brown’s secure wireless network. You should follow your institution’s instructions to set up your laptop for Eduroam before arriving at Brown.
If your computer or device is not set up when you arrive at Brown, you can also connect to Brown’s guest wireless network, Brown-Guest, for unencrypted internet access or to temporarily access eduroam instructions or downloads from your home institution.
