Note: Quetzalcóatl is a major deity in Aztec mythology. Depicted as a feathered serpent, he symbolizes the union of earth and sky. Revered as the god of wind, dawn, knowledge, and the arts, he is a creator figure credited with giving humanity agriculture, mathematics, and the calendar. Among the Aztecs, he was also linked to Venus, the Sun, merchants, crafts, and learning, and was honored as the patron god of the priesthood. Alongside Tlaloc, Tezcatlipoca, and Huitzilopochtli, he was one of the principal gods in the Aztec pantheon.
