Printing
Printing is available in the following library computing clusters:
- The Rockefeller Library Computing Clusters on the first floor in the Sorenson Reading Room and second floor in the Werning Graduate Space.
- The Sciences Library Public Computing Cluster on Level A and the Mezzanine level.
- The John Hay Library lounge on the first floor.
- The Orwig Music Library on the first floor.
It is recommended that students use the new www.brown.edu/go/print to print files, no setup required. All students can send documents from a cluster computer, their personal computer, their residence hall rooms, or from a wireless connection using the Virtual Private Network (VPN) client, to the PAW (People Against Waste) Prints queue and release them for printing at release stations next to printers located throughout campus. All students are given $30 in printing at the beginning of the fall semester. Once the value is used on their Brown ID, students can use the vending stripe on their Brown ID to pay for printing.
