Brown University Library offers borrowing privileges free of charge to Brown alumni. Alumni borrowers will be able to check out books from the University Library but because of license restrictions, access to our complete collection of electronic books and journals is restricted to in-library access only. When visiting the Library, please feel free to use one of several workstations not restricted to current students and faculty.
Since 2010 the Library has been offering a subset of licensed electronic resources to alumni on a trial basis. This subset allows alumni to access the full text of nearly 5,000 scholarly and business publications and newspapers. More information is available from the Brown Alumni Association services page (http://alumni.brown.edu/services/library/)
