Robert T. Galkin Collection
During World War II, Clarence W. DeMontigny, an artist working in New Bedford, Massachusetts, drew patriotic images and political cartoons on a series of envelopes, creating original decorative covers. The envelopes displayed here picture President Franklin Delano Roosevelt working on his stamp collection and a commemoration of the USS Flying Fish, a United States Navy submarine.
