InRhode was the combined catalog of the HELIN Consortium (RI academic libraries) and Josiah. As of September 2015, Brown University is no longer a member of the HELIN consortium. However, the Brown University Library will continue to offer certain levels of access to visitors affiliated with institutions in the HELIN consortium.

BorrowDirect allows you to place online requests for materials that are not available at Brown. You need your 14-digit library barcode to place requests. These services are generally faster than Interlibrary Loan, but materials are not renewable.
Ocean State Libraries (formerly CLAN) provides access to materials in all of the public libraries in Rhode Island. Brown students can obtain an OSL card by presenting a student ID.
