The Absolute Quiet Rooms on level A of the Rockefeller Library will be closed from the beginning of June to the end of August 2024.
A large staff space on the first floor of the Rock will be renovated during this time. The two Absolute Quiet Rooms will be used as staff space throughout the project.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and recommend the following alternative spaces for quiet study:
- Willis Reading Room, John Hay Library, 1st floor
- Absolute Quiet Room, Sciences Library, 4th floor
- Individual group study rooms at the Rock and SciLi, reservable by students at libcal.brown.edu/allspaces
