The addition of a new certificate to the EZProxy server seems to have resolved the issues that users were having with seeing the “untrusted connection” message when trying to login to eresources via EZProxy. There are still a handful of eresources that do not work with EZProxy, but do work with the VPN client. Please remember to try the VPN if you are unable to get access to a resource via EZProxy.
