Josiah, the Brown University Library catalog, will be down for scheduled maintenance beginning at approximately 4:00 PM Tuesday, March 28th. We anticipate the downtime to be 1-2 hours.
  • InfoGate Unavailable Sunday – Tuesday, March 26-28

    |

InfoGate will be unavailable temporarily because of a hardware upgrade.
The migration of software to a new server was delayed from Sunday morning until Monday morning. Unfortunately, the installation, which is being run from Israel, was not completed on Monday. Service may not be restored until Wednesday, March 29 since Tuesday, March 28, is a national holiday in Israel.

  • Some Library Services Unavailable, March 26, 8:00-9:00am

    |

On Sunday, March 26 at 8:00am there will be a planned outage of two servers which run many library applications. The outage, during which critical maintenance will be performed, should last less than an hour. All applications at these URLs will be affected:

    http://dl.lib.brown.edu/
    http://sfx.brown.edu
    http://revproxy.brown.edu

The sites running on these servers include Center for Digital Initiatives, OCRA course reserves, E-Resource lists, InfoGate, find it! (sfx), and EZProxy.
During the outage, e-resources can be accessed through Josiah, the Library’s catalog, which will not be affected. The VPN client is available for off-campus access in lieu of EZProxy.
