Associated Press covers Brown’s digitization of the Garibaldi Panorama

A recently released article “Brown University to make historical panorama available online” from the Associated Press spotlights the work being done by the Brown University Library to digitize a 273 foot example of panoramic art. Chronicle of Higher Education spotlights Garibaldi digitization

The latest issue of the Chronicle of Higher Education features an article documenting the hard work that Brown University curators and team members in the Center for Digital Initiatives are doing to make the Garibaldi Panorama digitally available to students and scholars throughout the world. Glimpse at Museum Objects at the John Hay Library

A small selection of clay tablets from the John Hay Library is on exhibit now through the end of August. Among the items are cuneiform tablets and cones from ancient Mesopotamia. The Hay is open 9-5, Monday through Friday. It will be closed on Monday August 13, 2007. For further information contact hay@brown.edu
