Winners of the Library Innovation Prizes for Research Rigor, Transparency, and Reproducibility and Carney Institute Brain Science Reproducible Paper Prize

For the second year the Brown University Library and the Carney Institute for Brain Science have partnered to recognize Brown students’ innovations in enhancing research rigor, transparency, and reproducibility. This year the Brown University Library and the Carney Institute for Brain Science partnered to create new awards to recognize student innovations in research rigor, transparency, or reproducibility. Announcement | Library Innovation Prize & Carney Institute Brain Science Reproducible Paper Prize

The Brown University Library is thrilled to announce a new partnership with the Carney Institute for Brain Science on two prizes for student work that exemplifies research rigor, transparency, replication, and reproducibility. 2017 Library Innovation Prize

The Brown University Library announces a $500 first prize and a $250 second prize for the creation of the most innovative and interesting 3D color-printed model. The theme for this year’s prize is the Brown University campus. Contestants must be currently enrolled Brown graduate or undergraduate students. Library Innovation Prize Winner 2015

The Library is pleased to announce that Andrew Beers ‘15 is the winner of this year’s Library Innovation Prize.  Andrew’s presentation entitled “Grand Banks Iceberg Mapper” used data from the U.S. Coast Guard and from a number of early print sources, including maritime newspaper accounts, to plot the location of icebergs in the Western North Library Innovation Prize Winner 2015

Library Innovation Prize 2014

The Brown University Library is offering a $1000 prize for the creation of the most effective and innovative working prototype of a mobile app (stand-alone or web-based) designed to enhance access to or use of the Library.
