JSTOR Full Text Articles Unavailable

JSTOR ejournal service is available for searching, but full text articles are currently unavailable. It is a widespread problem that is not limited to just Brown University. JSTOR is aware of the problem and working to fix it. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Sciences Library Renovation

In preparation for renovation of several floors for new tenants and services, the Sciences Library is undergoing some significant changes.  Workers are moving and shifting materials around, materials are being transferred off-site, and there will be a lot of changes—some temporary, some permanent—in what is housed in the building and where.  A fuller description of Sciences Library Renovation

Wiley Access Restored

Access (both on and off-campus) to the Wiley Online Library of ejournals and Cochrane Library has been restored. 6/24/2014 @ 2:16 p.m.

Orwig Handicap Ramp Inaccessible August 13

Due to construction, the handicap ramp at Orwig Music Library will be inaccessible for one day on Tuesday, August 13. A construction foreman or facilities manager on site will alert library staff in the event that someone needing the handicap ramp cannot get into the building.

Rock Storage collections retrieval delays

From June 11 through June 22 there will be a delay in retrieval of items located in Rock storage collections, e.g. Theses and Cutter, as this area will be under construction. You may submit requests for this material; however, it will be up to 5 days before they will available for your retrieval.

Library Closings and Handicap Access

Library Closings: All Libraries will be closed from Thursday, December 22 at 5pm until Monday, January 2 at 8:30am, except the Friedman Study Center which will be open Tuesday, December 27 through Thursday, December 29 from 10am to 5pm.
