This week the Brown Library welcomes library computer programmers and other library technologists to the 4th annual Code4Lib conference. Code4Lib is a single-track conference, this year capped at 220 attendees. The conference is increasingly becoming THE conference for the library programming community demonstrated by the fact that registration reached capacity in less than 24 hours this year.
Over the course of two and a half days attendees will hear three keynote addresses, 22 presentations selected by the Code4Lib community, and 39 5-minute lightning talks by participants who sign up at the conference. Video of conference sessions will be available at Google Video and Internet Archive.
The Library provided two scholarships to promote gender and racial diversity among conference attendees.
