New Study Area in Rockefeller Library

levelA.jpg
The Library will be holding a small ribbon-cutting ceremony at 4pm this Thursday, Feb. 8 to celebrate the opening of a new study area in the Rockefeller Library. Located on Level A of the Rock, right next to the Absolute Quiet Room, the space used to house only the rarely used printed catalog cards (all now available via Josiah). Now the room is a bright, open environment for students to work — with comfortable chairs, laptop hookups and great views of downtown Providence. University Librarian Harriette Hemmasi will welcome students and UCS vice-president Tristan Freeman will cut the ribbon to officially open the room. Drop by to take a look and grab a cupcake!
