Data & Government Information – Tell us what you need
|
Hi, I’m Tom Stieve, the Library’ new Social Sciences Data Librarian. I am responsible for Government Information and the Library’s numeric and spatial data for the Social Sciences. In order to better assist you in your studies and research, I need to have a better idea about what you need and want from these resources.
Please help us build up the best possible resources for all of your social sciences data, statistics, GIS, and government information needs by filling out this feedback form — http://dl.lib.brown.edu/surveys/stieve.html. The survey should take only about 10 minutes.

Feldman Book Arts Studio Dedication
|
Saturday, October 15, 2005
3 to 4:30 p.m.
John Hay Library
The Library will honor Walter Feldman, Professor of Art and John Hay Professor of Bibliography, with the dedication of the Feldman Book Arts Studio (located in the basement of the Hay). The studio supports the work of Professor Feldman’s students in the book arts, providing them with the space and materials to creatively explore the book as an art form. More than 300 books created by Professor Feldman’s students are in the permanent collection of the John Hay Library. This event will include a welcoming reception (in the lobby of the Hay) as well as tours of the Book Arts Studio along with a display of works by Professor Feldman’s students.
