The Library is pleased to announce that Ben Cail has joined the Library as the new Digital Library Programmer in Repository Services.

Ben comes to the library from Charlotte, NC where he worked as an applications programmer/analyst on the application support team at Wachovia/Wells Fargo. He has extensive experience in ESQL, JAVA, Bash, C++, Python, and XML technologies.

Additionally, he is a Google “Summer of Code” alumnus in which he worked on expanding the open source project KOffice; specifically improving it’s ability to interact with Microsoft Office files.

Ben holds a BS in Computer Science and Engineering from LeTourneau University. He will be located in the SciLi. Please join us in welcoming Ben to the Brown community.
