On Saturday, December 10th, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., the John Hay Library will be offering tours of its McLellan Lincoln Collection in connection with the Providence Public Library’s new exhibition “Forever Free: Abraham Lincoln’s Journey to Emancipation.” Our companion exhibition, “Broken Chains: Abraham Lincoln and the Legacy of Emancipation in the African American Experience” will also be open for viewing.
