BUL New Hire Orientation

Their First Few Months

  • Provide regular and timely feedback to the employee on work performed.
  • Prepare for your employee’s probationary review. Remember that new employees receive a probationary review from their date of hire — six months for exempt staff, three months for non-exempt, non-union employees, and three months for non-exempt, union employees.
  • Provide feedback to the Onboarding Committee with any suggestions or tips for improving the new hire experience.
