![]() | The Ziegfeld Follies Showman Florenz Ziegfeld, jr., perfected a revue format that called for pretty girls, comedians, musical performances and skits in a fast moving spectacle. His shows were known for lavish productions and costumes and made stars of perfomers such as Fanny Brice, Will Rogers, and Eddie Cantor. Hill, J. Leubrie. At the Ball, That's All. Performed in the Ziegfeld Follies of 1914; the composer was active in the early African-American musical theatre.
