My experience in this proctorship has made me completely rethink what it means to do scholarship and what it means to share research in the digital age. From discussing ideas with faculty authors to imagining publication architecture with visionary digital design teams, everything is a collaborative effort from start to finish, and no one project is the same. As I think about my own work going forward, in terms of both research and teaching, I am much more inclined to think beyond the printed book and embrace the many new avenues of scholarship and scholarly thinking I was exposed to as a member of the DPI team.
