Library Collections Annex Official Opening
|

The Library Collections Annex will officially open on Feb. 3, 2006, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony by President Ruth Simmons. Planning for the high-density storage facility has been in the works for more than a decade and is one outcome of Brown’s billion-dollar Plan for Academic Enrichment.

GIS and SPSS workshops at Library

The Library is running its series of workshops on software packages for spatial and numeric data. GIS I and II will focus on map making and spatial analysis for the social sciences. SPSS I and II will focus on performing statistical analysis using this software package. Please see CIS: Computer Training at Brown – http://comped.brown.edu/ – for more details and registration.

Soldiers NOT On Parade
The Anne S.K.Brown Military Collection Gallery is currently being repainted. It will not be possible to view the miniature soldier collection during this time. The Gallery will reopen on January 23.
