Library Services During Winter Break 2023 – 2024

Extended Winter Break Brown University administration has generously planned an extended winter break from the close of business on Friday, December 22, 2023 through Sunday, January 7, 2024. Bringing UTRAs into the Library

Four UTRA awardees present their Library-based research projects Four UTRA (Undergraduate Teaching and Research Awards) awardees found and conducted research on materials in the Library’s special collections. Children’s Book Drive

For the third year, the Library is hosting a campus-wide drive to collect children’s books for donation to Pawtucket, RI-based organization Books Are Wings. We collected 758 books! Many thanks to everyone who contributed! Queer Pasts: Eresource of the Month – October 2023

October is LGBTQ History Month! Your Brown University Library is highlighting Queer Pasts as its Electronic Resource of the Month. Queer Pasts is a new digital queer history project consisting of primary source document collections and curatorial essays. Queer Pasts seeks to broaden the field of queer history by prioritizing projects that focus on the experiences and Queer Pasts: Eresource of the Month – October 2023
